Culture evening: Ellen Key's guestbook – lecture with Ingrid Thörnqvist

This year marks 100 years since the author Ellen Key passed away in her home Strand on Omberg. In her guestbook "The Stranger's Book", about four thousand people have signed their signatures after their visits to Strand. Journalist and author Ingrid Thörnqvist talks about some of the most exciting people and their fates, on World Book Day during the Year of Literature in Vadstena.

Ingrid Thörnqvist is a freelance journalist and author. She was previously a foreign correspondent at SVT Nyheter.

The event takes place in the Dormitorium – stairs only, no elevator. The doors open as early as 6 p.m. for those who want to visit this spring's temporary exhibition The Pioneers of the Pen – about the women writers of the Middle Ages.
