Culture evening: The new women's city – joint book reading
Joint reading and conversation with museum educator Linn Carlehed based on Christine de Pizan's book The Women's City and Nina Burton's The New Women's City.

Entrance incl. simple coffee: 110 SEKIn 1405, Women's City was written by the French writer Christine de Pizan, an astonishing book that has been called the first known feminist work. In 2005, Nina Burton published The New Women's City, a sequel of sorts 600 years later. It consists of a generous selection of successful and fascinating women throughout history.
Together we read selected parts of the book and talk about these. No prior knowledge is required. A simple coffee break and a short guided tour are included in the exhibition The Pioneers of the Pen – about the women writers of the Middle Ages.
