Exhibition: Hasti Radpour – Where the Body Carries Fire

This exhibition features textile works, paintings, drawings, photographs and experiments in cyanotopy and photo transfer. Through these techniques, Hasti Radpour explores layers of human experience, especially human rights, war, destruction and how civilian voices are silenced. With Iran as a background, but always with a view to the bigger, both pain and resistance are portrayed. The works bear traces of fire, ashes and silence, but also of hope, presence and perseverance.

The exhibition will be on display during Vadstena konstrunda 11–13 September 2026, and until 17 October. Opening Friday 11 September at 5 pm.

During the period, we offer two extra program items: a Culture Evening with lectures and conversations about art and politics on Thursday 17 September at 7 pm, and a workshop for all ages on Saturday 26 September at 2–4 pm. Both occasions are led by artist Hasti Radpour.
