Exhibition Vadstena Vikings

VikingArt Group We are a group of artists/craftsmen with roots in Östergötland who discovered that we have a common interest in the Viking Age - the exciting time just over 1000 years ago. From Fine Art Smithy, Ceramics, Relief Art, Textile Art, Silversmithing, Wood Art, to Photo Art, the foundation has been laid for a slightly different way of exposing and presenting a broad interpretation of our cultural heritage. We work and create our art in our own environments and it is not only about the Viking Age, but the embryo is there and is activated by meetings with like-minded people who share the same thoughts and interests. The goalF is to highlight the uniqueness created by our ancestors through our art. The Viking Age is treated with great reverence and respect in our Nordic neighboring countries, including northern Germany and England, and we want to contribute to broadening interest and respect in our country as well.
