Hans Kennemark with his intense, driven playing of Västgöta songs, Pelle Gustafsson, one of the pioneers in playing "Bach in Swedish", with fancy Bingsjö playing paired with classical, and Stefan Wingefors, pianist in Bohus Big Band and also frequently hired double bassist – a living jazz legend. The interaction began with a tour to France in 2007 with a program of Swedish folk music and newly written by Hans Kennemark. Since then, the group has done summer tours every summer with their own works, traditional and arranged folk music with splashes of baroque character and some classical gem. One of the trio's parade numbers is "Gavottpolskan". It is part of Bach's D major suite and is transformed into a cheerful polska, a bit in the manner of Västerdal. Hans Kennemark has toured internationally with groups since the early 80s. You have been able to hear him in groups such as Forsmark Tre, Bäsk, Tritonus, Septentrio and Nordik Tree, where he has contributed to spreading the music of Västergötland far and wide. As a composer and arranger, he has made folk music accessible to a wider audience in Sweden and internationally. Pelle Gustafsson is a trained violinist and works as a freelance musician in classical and folk music. Stefan Wingefors is a full-time musician and plays piano in Bohus Big Band and bass in various constellations. He is also (Sweden's only?) silent film pianist. A living jazz legend.
