Väversunda church from the 1160s is built in Romanesque style and is one of the best preserved medieval churches in the area. It is built of Omberg's limestone. Jöns Jacob Berzelius, born in Väversunda sörgård, was a Swedish baron, chemist and naturalist who has been given the epithet "the father of Swedish chemistry". He discovered the elements cerium, selenium, silicon and thorium and has had two minerals named after him: berzelianite and berzeliite. In the parish hall there is an exhibition about Berzelius.
