In Come Dolce, music from Italy's foremost Renaissance composers, Romeo and Juliet, meets the choir's idiosyncratic scenic language. Song and movement are intertwined into vivid stories where Baroque passions meet the bodies and voices of our time. It is a playful and sensual dialogue between then and now, where the music takes shape in both sound and image.

The Romeo & Juliet Choir was founded in 1991 at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm and operates in the borderland between concert and theatre. Directed and directed by Benoît Malmberg, performances are created where music, dance and drama meet in a total experience that engages and surprises. The choir has toured over 40 countries and performed at everything from royal weddings to monasteries, cathedrals and opera houses, always with the audience in the center – face to face, in a shared now. With Come Dolce, the Romeo & Juliet Choir creates a sweeping, sensual and intimate concert experience where timeless music comes alive – here and now.
