She is one of the foremost artists of her generation and has an impressive amount of albums in her catalog. Anne Sofie von Otter has an unusual breadth in her repertoire and has sung in Mahler and Bach as well as ABBA, Elvis Costello and Kurt Weill. Even after four decades at the absolute top of the world, von Otter takes on new roles and challenges at the world's opera houses. Putting the happy fiddler Bengan Janson in a box is not possible.
