Vadstena Medieval Days

The courtyard is filled with market stalls selling historical objects, handicrafts and jewellery. Hot food will also be available for sale. Watch the performance of jesters and medieval musicians or the brave knights' display of their martial arts! Gustav Vasa and his family are on site and the castle is open for you to visit. For both children and adults, there are guided tours of the castle accompanied by a royal or servant who tells exciting stories about the castle's amazing history. During Vadstena Medieval Days, Vadstena Castle will be full of life and activities for the whole family!
